October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and there’s a collective “paint the town pink” to raise money and awareness for all kinds of organizations—from support groups to research-based efforts. This year, I’m joining the conversation as well, extending my support to not only those who have a current diagnosis or survived the disease, but to also the caretakers—the nurses, doctors, and family members who rally on a daily basis, offering hope, love, and positivity in a negative situation.

This month, I’m going to chat with woman who’ve inspired me, and I’m also going to ask you to tell me about those who inspire you. This is a great time of year to share some powerful fem energy.

This month, I’m also teaming up with Support Connection, offering the Feel the Love Transformation Cards as a ‘low tech-high touch’ way to give a spiritual hug to all of those effected by the disease, while also benefitting Support Connection. When you make a purchase through the cart here, we’ll donate $5 from each deck to Support Connection, to support their mission to help women and families affected by breast and ovarian cancer navigate their way through treatment and beyond by providing a wide array of emotional, social and educational support services, all free of charge.

I used the Feel the Love Transformation Cards before and after surgery that speaks to the emotional and spiritual journey that many of us have gone through and are now undertaking. I also shared the cards with many of my nurses who took care of me during my hospital stay. I pulled a card the day of my surgery and each day in the hospital to help give me perspective on myself, my diagnosis, and life. The messages helped me focus and maintain a positive attitude through the whole process.

I hope you’ll join me in supporting this great organization, and I hope you’ll pick up the desk for someone who may need a little extra love this month. (And remember, that someone may be you!)

Feel the love,
